Sharing Our Strategies (SOS) Manual

QUEST Hamilton-Niagara has produced a �Sharing Our Strategies (SOS) Manual� to provide help to other laboratories addressing the following concerns:

• Document (SOS) Development
• Document Control
• Training Delivery and Documentation

The manual was piloted by 12 hospitals in Ontario, 4 small, 4 community and 4 teaching hospitals. Results of the pilot were analyzed and incorporated into the final version.

The manual is posted at the McMaster Transfusion Research Program website, www.fhs.mcmaster.ca/mtrp/, under the �QUEST� tab.
We look forward to many users having access to this resource and providing your feedback.

The manual is also crossed link to the TraQ Quality Management website of the Provincial Blood Coordinating Office in BC. This multi resourced site includes a Resource Library section where this SOS Manual is introduced as of December 2003.
