This website is designed for parents that have children who may require transfusion. This website explains what a transfusion is, why a transfusion might be needed, and also gives an explanation of what each part of the blood does. It also gives parents information about the donated blood and it origin, manufacturing and testing. This website is intended to make the parents of children who may require transfusion aware of the risks and benefits.
